Bharathiar University could be a public state university in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Named once Tamil author Subramania Bharati, the university was established in February 1982. The School has limited its operation for the obvious reason of strengthening its base to provide quality education. The School of Distance Education was established the year 1991-1992 and Distance Education Council (DEC) has provisionally recognized all courses conducted by SDE vide letter ‘F’. Having complete the target, the college has started extending its action by characteristic and approving Learning Support Centres (LSC) among Tamilnadu to assist attain a better gross incoming quantitative relation and better attainment rate, that contains the practical centers just like the Centre for standard Distance Education Programme, Centre for democratic Programme and on-line Programme.
